I'm very interested in the new PSU stores, and I'm wondering if anyone with a large number of items (I'd say 2000 or more) has opened a store?
I've played around with the demo admin, and the site at times has seemed a bit slow. I hope to have 10,000 products in my inventory by the end of the year and need to make sure I choose a site that can handle that type of volume.

The PSU Stores can handle an unlimited number of products. I don't think we have anyone that has added 2000 products yet since we launched not even a month ago. I did do a bulk load with a csv file and added over 400 products in a few seconds. The admin site might have seemed a bit slow because the first time you went to it because it probably download the java script for the menus and html editor to your browsers cache. Caching is also not turned on for the demo which effects the speed of the store frontend. |

Hello,
We took out 4700 items off ebay. We are moving them over here. Not all of our items are up yet (we have over 4700 items) but we stopped over in ebay when they announced yet another price increase.
What I did is take time read over instructions etc. of this program before moving items over (have not done this yet). There is a check list I am also going by.
So far this place gives you total control of how your site looks and feels. We like that! We did open up another store somewhere else but we do not like that place as much.
Also we like the fact that there is fantastic customer service here. If you have a question like I have had, it will be answered within no time at all!
We realize time is money, however this is the slow time of the year anyway.
