|

Bidville just announced that it has resumed the posting of listings to Froogle. Seems that Froogle is not used to handling such a big amount of listings at one time. Oh, the price of being bigger than the rest.
If Bidville is too large a file to handle, how do they do it for feebay? Hmmm. |

| BidVille is also posting to Google along with Froogle and both are working very well. My listings have been coming up. |

| I tested several of my auctions on Google Base this evening. None of my Bidville auctions show there when searched. The same auctions on AuctionQuests show up very nicely with full information. What gives. Is Bidville no longer feeding into Google Base ? The last posting about this was in August. Thanks for any help. |

You should all use the Google base connector. It's easy to use and when it feeds into Google your name is right beside the product. When the venue is submitting it on your behalf, it might be good for the convenience, but when a customer clicks on view other items fromthis merchant through google, it will show everything from that site... not just yours
It's easy to learn and it will help those who want to build their brand and presence |

| ChopSuey - thanks for the Google Base Store Connector suggestion. I have looked at their site and it seems to indicate that the Store Connector is ONLY for Amazon, eBay, and Yahoo stores. I am trying to sell through Bidville (crazy as that might be) and I get the impression it won't work with Bidville or other alternative sites. Am I wrong ? |

So much changes in so little time...
As far as I can tell, BidVille is NOT feeding the search engine Google, Yahoo or anything else out there anymore.
I've thrown in the towel... |
