I listed at a few other auction sites: HiBidder, OLA and WeBidz and then finally got around to checking out ecrater. I wish I'd gone there first!

The stores are so "clean" looking and I love the set up. It just looks so professional. I've already had 2 sales, 2 inquiries and a bunch of hits and I've only been listing less than a week.

I like that I don't have to "re-list" items; the shipping matrix, although a bit confusing at first, is much easier than it looks and is more accurate than other shipping calculators I've used.

If anyone is interested in discount veterinary or pet supplies, or plastic squeeze bottles, or if you're just a kind-hearted sort of person and like to help :) - please check out my new ecrater store and give me some constructive criticism.

I've been there since it opened, and do like it!! It's got a clean, professional look/feel to it. I've had a couple of sales but not much action after that! I still am a 'beleiver' in what you sell matters - as to where you list!

Best of sales to you there - and happy 'moving in'!! :D

I opened two shops on eCrater a week ago, and I love it also! I haven't had a sale yet, just a nibble. But I like the fact that I can find some of my items on froogle very quick after listing there. I am testing several sites right now, and eCrater is definately at the top of my list! I look forward to see how the holiday season progresses.

Good luck to all new eCrater shops!

Very nice eCrater websites ShaunaMari and Julia! ShaunaMari, putting up some featured products on your front page will look nice.

I like eCrater too. I've had my eCrater store for about 3 and a half weeks now. I've had 2 sales so far and looking forward to having more. I still need to make a lot more additions and changes though. I also plan to do some marketing.

I'm still excited about making those sales because I didn't think I could sell without eBay. I still get the most sales from eBay but, boy it sure was great not having to pay the eBay fees. :D

I wish you all the best with your online endeavours.

The one thing I wish eCrater had is the ability to create a favorites store list. I just looked at all three in the above and would love to put them and would love to put them in faves. I do this on Etsy all the time, which is good because there's a lot of stores there and it's easy to get lost.

I hadn't been paying much attention to my eCrater store and then in July had a $400 sale. Wasn't paying too much attention at Etsy, either, and yesterday had two sales.

The point is you never know who is looking or when they'll buy. This is a reason why eCrater is one of my top choices. It's works for my items 24/7.

ShaunaMarie, you're in my radar. You sell some items that I've been looking for and, frankly, as many here know, I have a large four-legged family. I will be selling more and more animal-related gifts but not vet supplies.

JuliaHutchins, beautiful jewelry. Since these are handcrafted you might also look into Etsy.

All three should look into B&S and LowBid. The products you sell would be an asset for these sites and will boost the variety that these sites need more of.

Yes, I mention these two sites a lot lately. I do that because B&S has been doing a lot of advertising and LowBid is already starting their advertising campaign. Both rock-solid reliable sites.

You're right about not knowing who's looking at your store or items Pipphoe. That's what makes Internet Sales so exciting. You can be sitting at your computer checking email, then all of a sudden get a PayPal email saying, "You have Cash!" I love it!

I'm just waiting for my next sale of 42 bottles of my most expensive nutrition juice. This time maybe on eCrater with NO FEES! :D Sales have been picking up the last week or so. However, I'd even take another order like that on eBay, even with the high fees. :x

Sandra: I agree with you 100% - I love when I am just hanging out and 'you've got mail - means you've gotta sale'!!

I've gotten quite a few surprise purchases off e-baY - some items that didn't sell there with/without a ton of looks. It's all about what you have, how easy it is to find and 'timing'!!! :D :D

Cathy - I'm not a crafty person at all, but did got to Etsy one day - very fun place to shop, esp. when you have no/limited talent!! :D :D

Cathy,

Thanks for the compliment on my jewelry!

I am on Etsy, but haven't had much luck over there. I get tons of looks but have only had two sales since I opened in January.

I was very excited with Etsy when I first opened my shop there, but have become discouraged since then. I am keeping my shop open over there since I already have the shop fully stocked, but I don't add new items there very often.

My Etsy store is thetreasurehutch.etsy.com. I opened it before I actually set up my own jewelry site, so I used the name we use for our antiques and collectibles. Unfortunately, I can't change it now and the thought of closing that store and opening another one just for a name change is not appealing to me.

I did sign up with lowbid, but haven't had a chance to put anything over there yet. So many places to try, so little time... I don't think I've signed up for bidders and sellers yet, but it's on my list to check out.

Julia, you are talented. keep on going.

Erin, you're right and you must have been speaking of me when you said NO talent. I have more of a analytical brain instead of an artistic one.

Sandra, Ditto here on the artistic. My friend's scrapbooking has advanced to levels I'll never see and we all started at the same time. If I don't see it in a book forget it!

As for Ecrater. I had not been very active over there the last few months and finally got enough time to get back. I had forgotten how helpful the folks on the boards are there.

I listed some new things there yesterday and will be adding a few everyday now.
