If any of you are thinking to sign up with Bidville….then beware ..they are Monkeys trying to play at the big game .

I have been waiting for over 10 days to get approved as a seller???

I have given all the detailed info they require, 100% true and fact, all the e-mail’s from them say this has not been provided or this is wrong even the user name for feedback.com that I gave they got wrong…then said it was my mistake….I think I know who I am??? And where I live.

Now this rubbish about my HSBC credit card not having a name on it????
Well for the past 26 years it’s worked fine …and both Paypal and ebay had no problems with it or any of the Airlines that I fly with…derrr!

""You credit card does not match up with your address on file, has no name on it, and you not give us any straight answers either. Your account is not and will not be approved to buy and sell on Bidville"".

Did You Notice the spelling mistakes>>>>>>>>?
What is wrong with these people are they only staffed by school children with zero intelligence?

Totally Carp and don’t deserve any business with arrogant replies like this
Marks out of 10…..not even 1 for trying…..how big is 10
:?:

I haven't been there so I'm unfamiliar with it. Do you need to provide a credit card if you just want to buy?

Only if you want to be verified Patty.

Welcome to PSU, terryp. Sorry you had such a hard time registering at Bidville. Interestingly enough, you're the first one I've ever heard of that's had this problem.

Hope you get it straightened out.

Just a thought

Is BV user friendly to our dear friends across the big pond?

I know there are a couple of U.S. owned online auction sites who do not allow overseas users--Can you say Overstock.com?

Sylvia would know more about this reference BV than I

Last I knew they did. But if they didnt, I would think they would have told him so already. I'm logged in in another window, checking things out. LOL

Hi
When you sign up for Binville (sorry Bidville) there is the Country of location option (almost all of the World …they must have bid (big) plans).

What I really think is so stupid from their highly developed & advanced support team..is that this sound like a script error from the application form data….as NO credit cards in the World are issued BLANK?????...Debit cards YES…but Not Credit Cards.
And I know we are a small Country will little quaint banks BUT…the HSBC is one of the top 4 in the World, and have the main International clearing dept…in downtown New York

At the end sadly their loss…I’m just angry at the 10 days I’ve lost due to ignorance and another ”so called auction site” with their heads up their………….?

I've never had any problems with being registered. They took all my information just fine. I do know they verify the information that they get, and make sure it's correct.
These are the same folks that are doing the UBid verifications so I doubt they are school children.

Since they enacted SAFE and VIP the number of scammers there is very low, and it's possible they are just not letting another one through.

I talk with international sellers on the boards there all the time and no one has mentioned any problems signing up. In fact, they are amazed at how things went.

So...uhm...terryp...did you go through the registration process without trying to register as a seller?

DO your address on your credit card and the address you gave to Bidville actually MATCH?

VIP means nothing as it’s only for US registered members….if they are open to all Country registrations.

I did register but it’s like a 2 part process, register then submit more info to be allowed to sell…..somewhere along this trail there has been an error with my card details….as…. guess what “the school Kids “could not spot this …….all my HSBC credit card details (name number etc) are right there on my credit card info page??????? In the bidville profile area….(I had to give this to Register…derrr?????)

So what are they On…looks like a massive dose of attitude (1million daily listings is a long way from 1 million daily sales……….!)

I’ve given up on them as if they can’t sort something this simple then I hate to think if something quite serious came along…as I said utter rubbish

This is the type of Company that will be bought out by ebay..at least they will have found their parents

One last point, during all the questions from Bidville to me, I said right from the beginning that I was an ebay silver powerseller and gave my ebay member name on all replies to them ….but repeatedly they would keep asking me if my ebay name was something completely different ? (one that has not ever been associated with me…I should do a ebay search on the name) , also for the feedbacksite.com .Bidville kept saying that my member name for this site was also something different, very similar but with a different ending…again I pointed this out to them but…..yes you guessed…no reply

I have no need to make false info to register ….I can just walk away …as I have

Sounds like the same power seller from hesgay that has already signed up many names on BidVille and has been suspended just as many times.

All I can say is, If you don't like it stay where you are at.
