Just interested: what language is your site developed in? Mysquel, PHP, .net? Is it developed from scratch or with off-the-shelf software?

Why did you go with the programming language you chose?

I'm definately using PHP, too. I got tired of the off-the-shelf problems :x and opted for custom programming. It's been far quicker - even lightening fast. My entire site is coded in about 1100 lines using PHP.

I have coded sites in ASP, Cold Fusion and PHP. PHP is by far the best! I wouldn't use anything else. Easy to learn and huge suport base.
