Alot of people did a quick slide by when ebay fees hiked many sellers ended listings and relisted for another month on the old fee scale. I just wonder now that we are approaching the 30th day since the hike how many people will freak when they see the real impact of the fees as they all pile in at once. I think more sellers will have to give up on ebay once the see the bills. I will probably be one of them. I reduced my inventory to 100 but that is not enough of a variety. I am not getting sales like I was. Plus I had to remove my postcards from there completely since I had 1800+ that was my business. Not to mention it was really picking up over the last few months. I miss my customers and ebay. :(

I reduced our inventory also, and may reduce more after this month's charges roll in. Our sales tanked during the Labor Day weekend and are just now starting to pick up a little. I'll have to wait and see what happens, but I admit I'm very very nervous about it.

Don't forget that Ebay has added their free listings for China and a 20 cent listing day for India, on Ebay USA. They are once again manipulating the counts! And, of course, spending millions on the TV ads for Ebay Express and I Sold It stores! I predict yet another dismal PR failure, and failed ventures, that the poor Ebay customers will be expected to pay for, again!

On the ebay forums I saw a posting that said store listings were 58 million in May and were down to 41 million last week.
The auction count varies between 12 and 15 million and will take longer to drop.
I have reduced my store listings from around 1000 to 300.
I am listing on other sites but no sales yet.
eBay will take a while to implode and for the buyers to move on to the other sites.
