Ebay hit store owners hard with the fee changes and got everyone all ralled up. But they made some additional changes....ooops they forgot to tell the sellers. Was it because they were afraid. No they just silently rip you off LOL.
The new change they somehow forgot to tell sellers unless they seen what was going on and griped to ebay, which in fact is one of the few gripes they are responding to. They now charge listing fees EACH and EVERY time you revise your listing.
example: you list your jeans for 15.00 and you don't seem to get a sale. And you see everyone else is selling theirs for 10.00 so you lower the price. Well guess what your charged a relist fee. Ebay sucks and I mean they are sucking us dry!! I am on my way out totally soon. Good luck to the rest of you.

Oh No msdee, this is so out of control!! I closed my ebay store in June, and haven't listed an auction since July, so I didn't have a clue about this!! I haven't been over to the ebay boards recently either. What a rip!! That is so unfair, I know that I had to go in and edit my listings several times, like when I forgot to change the shipping when I used sell similar. ebay is losing it, and turning themselves into a joke. Sorry to hear about this.
Regards,
Dancing |

Wow!! You've got to be kidding! (I know you're not) I just mean that is the ultimate of unbelievably believable!! They have got to have all lost their marbles!
I guess it is a stupid question as to ask what will they stop at...by the looks of it...nothing!
I'm going to hop over there and see what the other sellers there are saying. How long ago did you notice this?
I guess the proof is becoming apparent to all that no auction site is going to have to come along and give them a run for the money...as they are doing a pretty good job of tearing their own site down with the work of their own hands.
I wonder how many buyers are aware that this is happening to their favorite sellers?

I'm so sorry you're having these issues. I left last year in Feb., and have listed just a few items since then! If it's just you/your account, can you make contact with them to discuss and fix?
I will say in all I've read, I've not heard of fees charged for revisions (unless the revisions incurred added fees)!!
Hang in there and hopefully this will be resolved soon for you! :? |

This has to be illegal... Any lawyers out there?
Join our new boycott, get the heck off eBay and list somewhere else... This is so incredibly ridiculous, I'm surprise they had the brass ones to implement it...
I still have a credit from when I closed my store, I better go and get it before IT goes POOF! |

I saw the thread about this on the stores board this morning. It seems to be hitting some but not all sellers.
The reall jip is that E used to refund any fees if a revision dropped you into a lower price group. Last spring they said they would no longer do that refund as it seemed to tham that it encouraged "fee avoidance".
But now several sellers have been charged another listing fee just for revising, even tho they lowered the price.

There is only one solution to selling on Ebay. Leave and Leave NOW! They are facilitating fraud, feeing honest sellers out of business, allowing countries known for internet fraud to list free, taking store items out of searches, pushing sellers into E. Express, Half.com, etc. and generally letting us all know that our needs are not important.
Buyers are becoming so afraid of fraud on Ebay that they are staying away in droves. Once again, solution...get off Ebay and get off now! |
