Number of ebay stores as of 2/3/05 124,350 (went down)

I am sure that everyone recieved the "Fee Change Clarification" email. They must think that everyone is too stupid to understand their "proposed fee hike".

Well ebay has done it again. This past month they decided to include the store listings in the search. Now they have decided to retract it. As an ebay store owner its just useless. I have sold over $1000 and OWE THEM $80. Go figure. Its just not worth it. I am closing the store at the end of the month. I have my own site and I just hope I can get it out there. If anyone is even THINKING about an ebay store or a pro store, dont do it.

It made sense to open an ebay store, once they included the "store listings: into the auction search--Thought of doing this myself 8)

Now that ebay's closed the door to the stores, so to speak on the overall auction search, why bother unless a seller wished to "store" their items at ebay for $$ a month

I'm wondering if this change in the auction search mode has anything to do with the upcoming ebay express which everyone is chatting about?

Express is tuned to the buyers who wish to "not wait" to purchase an item via auctions--Ie, locate, click, pay and then receive, kind of like a retailers site~

Huge retailers should really like the new ebay express while smaller merchants will be closing their stores in mass!
