| I've just made another nice sale on Ecrater. Im noticing that the higher priced well made items are selling. I believe with the look being so professional, the layout is nice you can design your own store and easy make it easy for buyers. They seem comfortable shopping there and paying immediately on Pay pal. On the other sites like yahoo they don't know how to pay. They seem confused the new buyers. This is my second sale in a week. :) |

| Thank you kindly I sell for the little ones college some day. So all goes to them. I want to know is there a place to leave feedback on Ecrater? I don't see one? Plus I wish there was a place to leave notes. Like when you ship and such? Is there one? I can't find one. |

It's been a while since I studied the 'management area' for sellers, and I don't think so to both of your questions. I use the Paypal 'downloadable' information to track my sales, so no matter which site it comes from - it's all in one place (I use PP to invoice, even if they pay with MO, I've got a record)...
Perhaps someone with more info. than I will correct me here!! |

I've just been printing out the recipt on Ecrater and documenting on there. I wrote to them this morning and asked them to put in a note section. I like to put how they paid for shipping. First class, priority etc.

I get to join the "I Got a Sale on eCrater Club", too! Got my first one this week. No muss, no fuss.
You may be right, ladyJ, about people feeling comfortable w/ the site. My average sale is $25.00 on/off eBay. This one was a bit higher at $40.00. I have zero feedback @ eCrater, so this is an espeically nice first sale there.
I've sold a couple of these at eBay this week and net the same profit, as I'm pricing these at a discount equal to eBay's listing/FVF's. I want to encourage shopping other venues and in this case, it worked. This customer actually looked at my item on eBay (she didnt' realize it was me - only 2 of us have this flag listed right now) and decided to save a few dollars by going w/ eCrater.
My new customer found my listing through Froogle. |

Thats what Im thinking. The look, the ease, the set up. Looks professional. And I notice they pay right away, must be easy checkout for them. I get constant pleas for help on yahoo. I sure wish they would boost things up just a tad bit. Congrats to you too LL.
Blessings, LadyJ |

can someone answer a question? Do the items have to be relisted ever on Ecrater? I haven't been on Ecrater long. Sorry. Im asking because isn't that a way to stay fresh in Froogle and Google? When you relist you are strong again in the search areas. How do you stay fresh then?

ladyJ, items do not need to be relisted on eCrater, unless/until they sell.
Keeping your listings refreshed in Froogle takes a little time if you have a lot, but I'll tell you what I do. About every 7 - 10 days, I go through and change the price on my items, such as $9.99 to $9.95 - or - change a word or two in the titles.
I've only been with eCrater for 3 mos or so, but checking Froogle results, this seems to do the trick.
If anyone else has ideas, let's hear 'em!! |
