In the user agreement, I found this - which suggests any issues will not be 'managed' by them. But...they also have an internal dispute resolution center -- so I don't know what their role is for issues.
I also don't see if they do/do not take credit cards - am I missing this?
2.2 Vericoin is only a Payment Service Provider. Vericoin acts as a payment service provider by creating, hosting, maintaining and providing our Service to you via the Internet. We do not have any control over the products or services that are paid for with our Service. We cannot ensure that a buyer or a seller you are dealing with will actually complete the transaction.

We offer the dispute resolution center as a common ground to attempt to resolve any problems that may arise. It has an internal messaging system to help eliminate the tedious process of digging up e-mails(proof you communicated to the buyer). We primarily protect the sellers, we require that a buyer wait 7 days before even starting a dispute(some buyers expect it to be shipped yesterday). It also has a place for you to put a tracking number and courier so the mediator can easily see that the seller shipped the item.
We offer credit card processing to merchants using the Vericoin API, it is simple and fast to integrate into any e-commerce application.
We do not intend to accept transactions from any other country, with the exception of Canada in the spring. |
