Hello, thanks. Yes, i have a sample work which i did with WorldAuctions.com, I've created and web designed that website, added features. Still working with WorldAuctions.com to add more features, update the home page and community.

My sister does pretty much what you do website design, flash, logos, digital artwork.

I'll give you the same advice that I gave her.

Create a Portfolio Web Site (to show off what you can do), and always save the work you have done for other customers and clients (and organized so it can be easily retrieved later, think folders, and subfolders). Maybe your Portfolio Web Site can Point to Active Websites BUT ALSO ALWAYS Save on your Hard Drive a Copy of Websites you have created. A lot of companies forget about their websites, let them go, then don’t pay the bills and next thing you know POOF, the website is no longer (or some companies just go out of business).

Another advise is BackUp Your Work. Hard Drives Can Die with no chance of recovery. You can easily burn off completed work that you have done on CD-R’s or DVD-R’s.

With your Portfolio Web Site have your own Domain and Web Host. Do not do any of the Free Ad Based Web Hosting Sites like Geocities, Tripod, etc. These sort of reek of non professionalism.

PSU website are offering Web Hosting for $5 per month or $50 per year. This is very darn good deal and I can tell they are very responsive to questions and know their stuff good.

I think I am going to be moving my web site here for hosting. I am still want to read more before I make a decision.

But I ran across this post and I am looking for some one to:

1) redesign my home page on my web site
2) set up a shopping cart for me
