I'm thinking along the lines of the tireless effort of springlering in compiling her massive list of Store Closures here:
http://www.springlering.citymax.com/page/page/3774755.htm
I want to know:
1. Have you been pink slapped to death over bogus violations?
2. Have you been suspended for anything that is not a violation of TOS?
3. Have you been completely NARU'd for requesting information about your
bogus slaps or suspensions?
I'm curious, as you are not allowed, if you return, to speak of such things on eBay, how many in past few years, have been nailed by eBay unfairly...
I'd like to start a list... Feel free to share your stories too... If you can, give us eBay User ID too, if you feel comfortable... |

| Got slapped a couple of times but, amazingly, I'm still allowed to post. Could be because I closed my store in disgust on 8/31 and haven't been back except to the thread! Dixie |

I keep telling ebay they are non compliant and in voilation of common good sense... and they still haven't naru'd me.. at least in the past couple of days.
They took down my about my page for non compliance... So I changed my name... that page had been up for at least a year.
I swear there are bots answering the emails... |

LOL Michele, lady, you always put a smile on my face! (I love your "Let's Burn It Down")
I have a question about the site at the top....Are they posting everyone they can find that Closed their stores? (Had them closed for them, ect)
Is there such a 'master' list?

Sisters!!!
Good to see you here :)
Well, springlering started that list several months ago and has maintained it purely by sellers coming to her... It's the only list of it's kind that I know about, and on top of that, eBay disabled the ability to see just how many stores have closed since 7/19 some time ago... So any updates she does is definitaly word of mouth...
Yeah, I put that little logo in my siggie last week when I got my hand slapped (again) within 2 minutes of posting on a thread; Funny thing, all I said was you could find alternative auctions sites at PSU... That was IT, LOL... Other members actually spelled auction sites out; no slaps, no nothing...
Am I paranoid, nah, LOL... I just think we should burn it down!!! ROFL! |

I got suspended because i challenged a sale. SOmeone logged onto my account and started selling a ton of stuff. I got into trouble because it was stuff that isn't allowed . Then when they realized that I had purchased something on that same day from the states and not from Denmark where the sales originated I was allowed to keep my account. Though they did try to charge me the sellers fees.
on iOffer i got kicked out becuase the club i started was taken in the wrong contest buy one of the people and then she started complaining that i was allowing people to personally attack her. I was on vacation in the Carribean. iOffer was not my priority.

I just got pink slapped for mentioning the PSU site. Said the next violation would result in suspension.
Think I will have a drink and celebrate.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does NARU stand for?? We haven't been slapped but have had to stand up for ourselves a few times. I am currently trying to get a hold of an Ebay Newbie (0) who advertised Free Shipping & Handling on 3 items I won and when I went to pay there was Shipping & Handling. Now they will not respond to any contact from me. I did not pay and want to leave a negative feedback after 5 emails and two weeks of trying to make contact but I don't want them to leave me negative as I have 100% feedback so I have reported them to Safe Harbor, etc and asked about my Feedback first.

| I have been pink slapped many times but not NARU'ed. I did close my store months ago but I honestly don't want to get banned as I enjoy giving them what for on their boards every time I think I can get away with it. |

| Sorry Kiki, I meant to answer your question. NARU= Not A Registered User. There is a great feature on this site, 'mouse over' acronyms like NARU and you will see the explanation. |
