I can't get into any of the eBay boards from several different ways in. When I try, I get that stupid " down for scheduled maintainance" page and am told to "check the announcements page". When I do, there is nothing on the announcements about the boards at all.
Why am I NOT surprised at all. Come on, scheduled maintainance on a Saturday afternoon ??!!
I wouldn't be at all surprised to find a lot of the "troubling" threads GONE, or at least sanitized, when the boards come back on-line.
I think maybe we all better tread lightly if we venture over there. At least until we can see the "tone" of the board after it comes back.
While most of us don't really like eBay, many of us still need to be able to USE them from time to time when it suits OUR needs. It would be awful to get NARU'd because of the boards.

They do an awful lot of scheduled maintenance. lol. What do you think, so they can reindex? Clear out the daily hit list?
You'd be surprised what you don't get when you search for a hot stores board topic and click on it one google |

I found that yesterday (saturday) that the boards could not be accessed.

All the very justified screaming on the threads about the BIN buttons knocking buyers off site seems to have mysteriously disappeared also. The Raising Fee thread is months old but the page count never goes up, even though we are posting every day!
Do they really thing we are that unconscious. Comply or "ve vil burn all the books?!?" I think that's been tried before. I guess when you are as clueless as the top management over there, you think everyone else is too! |

Well a couple of threads that I thought might disappear are still there.
There is a thread similar to 1 here for a link exchange. It's only for OFF ebay sites. I'm a bit surprised that it has gone as long as it has.
Well as long as they are letting those threads go on, I'll use them.
