More sales, ... I was doing the Michael Jackson Moon walk, and the robot dance. :oops: I even added a few more, shall I say, high end or rather mid range products. I am still a little nervous about google checkout, and concerned with fraud and people trying to purchase items and do chargebacks. It looks lik their security system is in place and works great, I like the AVS feature - verification of card code, address verfication and pre authorization of charge, makes sure the funds are avl, then you can go ahead and complete the transaction by completing the sale. It will even show if only the partial zip code was listed, meaning just the 5 digits and not the additional (optional) 4 after that. If transactions seems fishy, you can opt out of the transaction and request further confirmation from the buyer. :D

Wow , I'm just not picking up the purchases on eCrater just yet :cry:

Think I will just keep going ,other people seem to have progress ,and the hits are coming in a bit.

All the sites seem terribly sporadic right now. I actually got a sale this week from another site that I've rather largely ignored most of the year -- LoudFrog.

I actually have several orders to get filled from this last week or so. Orders at this time of the year for seeds are a bit unusual. so maybe people will be doing more shopping earlier this year.

I have signed up with eC for Google Checkout, so maybe I better check my listings and update things to reflect that.

I do hope that GC takes off this year as maybe if there is even a little dent in the E/PP pocket, they will start to listen to their customers and fix some things. Not too likely yet, but maybe by this time next year they will be feeling a pinch.

No sales on ecrater yet, but don't have the stores (3) completely loaded yet, either, so that may be part of it. Lots of hits (some of which are from the froogle feed, be aware of that), but the best news is I'm seeing alot of my ecrater listings in the main Google search. Not Base, not Froogle, the main listings...and that ROCKS!

Yeah, I just had two more sales last night. I sell all types of consumer electronics so hopefully the sales keep coming. Many of my items are priced at $100 or more so I was worried for a while. BUt 7 sales in a month is pretty good so far. I just hope it picks up better!

I do believe that when things settle down several sites will be around for the long term and eCrater will be one of them. I now have over 500 items in my store and that is just the beginning.

eCrater has done nothing for me but I will slowly advance my stock each week

I think its a good mechanism for my non-book imports when they start up , but right now my focus is on targeted leads for books and eCrater

Perhaps when base feeds really post to Google search it will pick up

Ecrater has been getting some good press. They have an article on the discussion board that was recently published.

I've been there for a LONG time without sales, but just recently got back to do some serious listing.

I had my fifth sale there Wednesday night.
All my buyers have paid instantly via PayPal.
I'm happy with that.

I had a sale Monday, and they stated they would pay by money order. and they actually sent it... it arrived today.
first time that has happened on ecrater. For me its usually Paypal or they say they will mail the payment, but never do. So maybe things are on the upswing

Spent a couple days working on the look of my Ecrater store after months of ignoring it.

Received my first sale there on Sat. I see increase traffic too, but just like mentioned above still slow for me overall.

I'm going to work on it more since it doesn't have everything in it yet.

The discussion groups there have been VERY helpful since I am challenged in many areas of this work.

I have an eCrater order waiting to get filled along with 2 from BJ and 1 from my web site and just made contact with a Yahoo buyer. All seed orders.

For me, at this time of the year, that is fantastic. I usually don't get much seed business until Jan.

So just because E is messed up and slow, doesn't mean that the rest of the web is too. Looks like it may be a good sales year.
