|
|
I'm new. Well ... not really :P but, my store is!!
I'm just setting up now -- loading my product images today.
One thing that I can't figure out how to do is table-rate shipping based on the total price of the order like so:
Orders $1-75 = $7.50
$76-100 = $9.95
$101-125 = $12.50
$126-150 = $14.95
$151-175 = $17.50
$176-200 = $19.95
Over $200 = $24.95
AND an overweight charge for heavier items.
I'm only going to be shipping in the US. And I'm only going to be using UPS.
If I can't do table-rate shipping, is there a way to specify shipping for each individual item when loading the inventory via CSV file??
Thanks. |

Hi Keshets!
I use table rate shipping by order total also. I set mine up by going to
Components>Virtuemart>Admin>Configuration and there, click on the Shipping tab. Choose the "Shipping based on order totals. Fixed shipping costs based on values entered in configuration." Make sure the others are un-checked.
Then, go to Store>Shipping Module List> (still along the gold Virtuemart menu bar) and choose #7 shipvalue to configure your table.
I don't use extra charges, so I don't know how to fit those in. :( Unless you try #4 flexshipping.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, Sylvia, that was exactly what I was looking for
There are so many back doors and windows and cat doors to this software, I'm still trying to figure out where everything is
I'll take a look at the flexshipping later. What you provided answered like 99.99% of the question.
Right now, I need to focus on getting my images and my products uploaded.
Thanks for all your help. |
