Hi all,
I have been working on getting my store going at ecrater, but I have never been able to login to the forums. I enter the same login info, but the login page shows up over and over and ... I have contacted them but all the help offered was..."delete cookies and cache, try firefox and lower security settings. I had already done all of the above many times. and security settings are at the lowest, Nothing works. :( My memory is not overloaded, I have over 85% EMPTY mem!-new motherboard- Can someone PLEASE HELP :roll:
and one more problem, hehehehe
I have dialup [don't know if that makes a diff]and when I try to put in images, I HAVE to make them thumbnails. If I try to upload my pics, ecrater won't upload them at natural size. My pics were taken with hp digital camera and downloaded into hp image zone. Then I use 'easy thumbnails' and make -what else- thumbnails! that is the ONLY size I can make with that program of course.
I really really want to make ecrater my home, any suggestions?

Usually when you goto any site and you try to login with your username and password and it just sends you to the same login page then you dont have cookies allowed for that site. You will need to enable cookies.
Pictures taken from cameras can sometimes be very large in size and are uncompressed. I dont think Ive ever had a problem with images on ecrater. I believe the pics are automatically resized. I usually edit, crop, compress my images before I upload them. You may want to look into an image editing program.

rows, thanks for the suggestion, but I DO have cookies enabled. I have firefox, so I even list ecrater.com in my "ALLOWED" cookies. so that isn't it either. I have tried everything. may as well give it up. I can READ the forums, just cant post, or login to pm [private mess.] or anything else that I SHOULD be able to do from the community login page.
I have turned off my avg antivirus, off with avg firewall, off with adaware, but like I said nothing works! :(
and I have image editing, just had to learn that, that is what i needed to do! I've never worked with a builder quite like ecrater before. Different indeed!
I read the forums and wish I could "talk" to some of the folks there. They seem so nice and helpful. Everybody needs some communication like that, at least sometimes.

Any update on this? Have you tried using IE? Im using FF 2.0 and havent had any problems. Have you tried it on a different computer?

The only update is NO update! I also use FireFox 2.0 [although there was an update for it today, but I haven't checked the details yet]
and yep, IE is what I used to start with and thought that might be my problem.-usually is- but not this time. I even reinstalled windows since I first posted about this problem! But what can I say :roll: oh well
