This person is calling on a boycott on ebay because they allow people to use Pope John Paul's death and funeral as an opportunity to make money

| The author of the article is a stupid jackass (Read his article "O Canada", I guess my country is as bad as Communist Russia...) but what's really disgusting is this guy who sold those "mementos", captilizing off the emotions of Catholics during the time of the Pope's death. Don't be so shocked though everyone! Big corporations do it too, all the time, they just know how to do it without being so openly disrespectful, they'll have an ad paying homage to the Pope, then tag their logo right after it, same crap, nicer package. I'm glad everyone here seems to be more concerned about respect and dignity then money and exploitation, which is also why everyone is boycotting eBay. |

Catholic OR Protestant ....it is ALSO a desecration
(of a symbol of) the body of our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!! This
makes us FURIOUS and sad!! to think that he would take "extra"
is sort of sickening !! :(

| I do not know what to say or think about this person--Maybe it is the coming of the times users when no matter how sacred something is somebody is going to attempt to make $$ off it--When the Space Shuttle blew up above our heads while we were attending a trades days in N. Tx they caught a couple of deputy sheriffs attempting to sell debris from the crash site--The local community was outraged and these men were arrested and jailed by federal law for tampering with evidence--It made for shame in the local small towns to know that some of their own townsfolk would do such a thing--These are different issues yet related in a way when our fellow citizens (of the US) attempt to gain $$ for profit on another's death--I do not know whether or not to blame ebay--They merely see a way to make FVF $$ on the sale-- -->elgato |

IMHO.. It is just very very sad and shows so little dignity
and respect.
Thank you, elgato...We sincerely appreciate your very
thoughtful and knowledgeable comments..
People in the US.. (and all over) better learn
(or remember)
very FAST what dignity, respect, and decorum are
about...SAD! |
