I've been paying an outrageous monthly fee to CardService International for over a year. I just called to cancel my service. I was transferred to the "Presidential Hotline" (customer retention). I was told that due to my low volume they could offer me their dormant customer service fee of $9.95/mo + $.50/transaction + 4%.

I asked why I wasn't offered this when I signed up for the service. The supervisor (Claire) said that she was only aware of customer retention offers and was not aware of offers available to new customers.

I'm not recommending this service. Sales tactics like this really get my undies in a bunch. I'm just suggesting that anyone who is paying too much for CSI might want to call 800-456-5989 ext. 4399 and ask about the dorment accout rate.
