Listing in bulk using CSV Import & Export scares me. I have used auction site listers, but there is more and more talk about listing in bulk using CSV.
Is there a good tutorial I can go to so I can learn how to use it properly :?:
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Using bulk lister programs is a great way to get lots of items up for auction quickly and many power sellers swear by using them. It really beats the one-by-one listing method by light years.
Ebay has its Turbo Lister 2 (TL2) program available for free download that has pretty good help. It has an export to CSV file function.
We also have a free bulk lister (BL) program at Satisfaction.com with a good help section. Many sellers who have been using Ebay's TL2 are exporting their auctions to a CSV file then importing that file into the Satisfaction.com Bulk Lister. Many sellers also input their auctions directly into our BL, bypassing the TL2 export step.
The major benefit of using our BL is that sellers can bulk list large numbers of basic auctions for free. On the other hand, when using Ebay's TL2, doing that can generate big listing fees at 'Turbo' speeds.
Hope this helps. |

Toytown, what site are you trying to create a csv for? Is it a phpprobid site or r-script site... just tell the name of the site and i'll check it out and tell you.
If its for a phpprobid site, the bulk listers are configured to that site only. And it will work better if you load the bulk by hand.
There are several problems using csv with the pax lister that others have reported. I don't use csv myself. If the csv is wrong, then the lister won't work right. By adding by hand, then you know for sure that everything is set exactly as you want it.
Rscript... someone else will have to help you. |
