| Our sales have been really good on eCrater. We began making sales the second day we listed. They seem to have their act together. Other sites we've tried haven't done nearly as good. All we can suggest to others is that you need to make sure you have good descriptions, prices folks can afford, reasonable shipping rates (afterall, eCrater is free), title tags, description tags, keywordsand most importantly, a niche product or two or three that no one else has online. Feebay was good till April of 2006. These smaller sites are gradually taking a foothold on the market. |

| I finally opened an ecrater store today and am pleasantly surprised by the listing process as well as other things. One thing I noticed that I absolutely LOVE is the length of titles!!! |

Glad to hear online sellers having success on the alternatives store's site's :D
I too just recently opened and ecrater store and receiving lot's of views but no sales to date but I'm very hopeful for this particular selling venue...Like you stated, IT'S FREE! :D

I just need to read through the SEO. eCrater will be my first step in owning my own site and having business for my ownself. :)
The good thing about eCrater, too, is that it's virtually impossible for a non-seller buyer to navigate through the site, so we know they're finding us through search engines!! |

The best christmas ever, because of ecrater. I have a store and list on google base. They have out sold ebay. Now I don't even want to list any thing on other sites. Best of all it is FREE.

You have very nice looking pages and lots of varied
and interesting items!! :thumbsup:
I like this comment you made(below) and believe we ARE
(ALL of us at MANY alternate sites )ARE beginning to
make a difference!! It is definately going to take a
lot more time, hard work, and patience..but
just watch NEXT Christmas..I really have a good feeling
for alternate sites, if we all KEEP trying, and working hard..

| I have been on ecrater for a few days and had quite a few page views. But I did notice that it counts my page view, so does that mean it doesn't count unique visitors, either? that would suck. :( Bu I really like the site still. It's only a matter of time before I'm closing my store on eBay and just using auctions (maybe). I sitll have to convince my husband I can do this. |

| those page views actually represent how many times an item has made it "available" to be seen, if that makes sense. But not how many times the particular item has been viewed. :( |

OK wow. I'm surprised. My resale clothing/bags/toys/etc store has been open less than a week and I have already had 1 sale, and paid for ! I'm very pleased. ;)
