Dimitar, owner of e-Crater, is asking what are sellers top 3 features they would like to see implemented on eCRATER. This is your chance to be heard, so be sure to post them on the e-Crater board.

Sade,
I just opened my eCrater store a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t stocked it much, but I have used the site enough to notice 3 changes I would like to see made.
1. The featured categories is nice, but the small link in the lower right for “more” categories is too small. I think it should be enlarged, so people are more likely to see it and browse a store. Possibly adding the word categories after “more” along with the enlargement.
2. Although I haven’t made a sale yet, I have read that after a sale, you have to manually delete the listing. If this is true, I would like to have this automated.
3. HTML in the descriptions. If this is too large a task, I would like to see any links in the item description be “clickable”. |

All very good suggestions. Please post them on the e-Crater board. I supplied the link in my original post.
I added it just now, my bad. |

I can't post there anymore as I closed my store, but you might pass along that one of the reasons I did is that EVERY picture needed to be specially sized just for that site. Pain in the pitucci.....
And I see that it is still a problem, as most clothing shots show only a portion of the item.... |

I size pictures smaller anyway, because I don't want to upload huge image files, so the size of pictures is not a problem for me.
I would like a printable packing slip. Now you can print the order page, but it doesn't have the seller's address on it, which is important if the package is damaged.
I love that eCrater is so easy to list to. I don't want HTML added, as the eCrater listings have such a clean look. 8)
I'm not seeing my inventory showing up in Google searches. Even my old eBay listings (canceled) still show up. eBay is usually on top. I don't have much in sales on eCrater, and I have been there since August. i have done what is suggested in the promotion component of the contol panel.
I would like to have more categories to show on the home page.
I like the fact that we can have multiple pictures.
The search on the left of the home screen is a bit faint looking. Not really noticeable. (This just could be the color set I've chosen.)
I would like to have the option for a category not to show unless I have inventory in it. But that is a last priority---not a biggie. I just probably have too many subcategories.
I love the option of Google Checkout.
All in all, eCrater is my favorite selling venue. We need more listings so I can make my purchases there also! And we need more traffic!
Warmest Regards,

| I have been selling on 4 venues all year, I'm down to 3 now, and e-Crater has been the best selling for me by far. Better even than eBay. I can live with cropped images. They do enlarge, so it's not really a big deal to me. |

Well, let me revise that. Basic HTML would be fine----but not the gaudy stuff.
