I post a topic titled 'Unanswered Questions' and there were some reasonable and helpful replies.
All of the sudden the thread title has been changed to "Danger Sirens Going Off at Ecrater!!!" and its been locked.
I'm not a big forum guy and prior to PSU I never used them, but a changed thread title/subject and seem awfully fishy.
Is this normal? I don't want anyone think thinking I titled it "Danger..." becuase I know nothing about ecrater

| That really is wierd... I responded to it last night. I am wondering if the last post had something to do with it, but why would the moderator change it knowing who posted the last message? |

cohibastore.com,
The postings did seem to move away from your original questions, but still nothing I would expect to create a “locked” topic. Although the topic title has been changed, the topic is still locked. I thought your original post was very good and was unable to respond due to it being locked. This following was what I intended to post.
cohibastore.com,
If you’re looking for “a semi-permanent home to redirect my ebay customers”, in the long run you may be better off with your own web site. I still have not made a final decision on this yet. For the time being, I have opened an eCrater store.
I am not too worried about fees from eCrater. Due to competition, I doubt the fees would ever be as high as Ebay Stores. If eCrater grew big enough to charge a small monthly fee, I would have no problem with that.
But I have been hesitant to list much product. I would be more at ease if I knew the owner of eCrater was making a living off of it right now, and planned on a much larger income in the future. I do not want to invest a lot of my valuable time listing on a site which will be gone or stagnant a couple of years from now. Better to spend my time on building my own web site. |

It started out as a perfectly good topic, lightning_lash..
but then ozarkman took it over with his "ravings"...
He is now BANNED!! (that, I assume is why
it was locked). :(

Hello everybody,
well, this has been quite an interesting situation and my first meeting of ozarkman, patrick,etc.,etc.,
There was the original thread of "unanswered ?s", and then late last night ozark decided to start a new thread the sirens at ecrater, it seems the two threads have been merged, and somehow it retained the sirens name, but I see now that has been changed back to the original title. I was going to respond to ozark, but the thread was locked, I just wanted to remind him that it was HE who created the troublemaker rules, and I wanted to ask him to quit referring to me in his posts!
I believe that ozarkman, etc., went over to the ecrater forum late last night and made some posts, but, the troublemaker police sirens have already been heard over there, and I'm sure it won't be long til the troublemaker police haul him off to the "pokey" He is also posting at the blujay forum, but he likes blujay so most his posts have been of the nature loving carnival like feeling from sea to shining sea type of posts, but, I do believe he is almost on the verge of breaking his own troublemaker rules on the blujay forum, so once again off to the pokey there!
I don't know about anyone else, but this has been a comedy show for me, except for the "yellar" tooth, that was ICK!
Have a great evening,
Lu |

Call me dumb - even outloud....I was here early this morning, and missed the whole thread - darn it!!!
I can say that eCrater continues to grow, and I've added items as I've had time. It is producing for me, and I'm not actively marketing anywhere right now - short on time with RL and family 'stuff'.
So - I go with 'today' - it's free for now, and if the model changes - I'll evaluate then what I should do with my 'stuff' - make sense?
I'm sure sorry we had a rain shower that locked down good discussion. I'm thrilled to see PSU and the other mods. fix it so quickly tho - :D   :psulove: !!
You all are the bestest!! :D  |
