suburbantreasure: Where on Google? In Google Products?

Or are you seeing the hits from squidoo and worldcollectorsnet? (Nice going on the cross-promotion, by the way).

Blujay.com remains Google Web Search invisible today.

Purple Yes totally agree with you. Blujay needs to do something to get us back up and running. Nothing as of yet. I just wrote a post at the Blujay Forums expressing my concerns. Maybe they will address this issue? Not sure.

Hello BluJay seller's.. and the owner(s).

We had the same thing happen... All of our sellers items were removed.

Here's the post.

http://www.powersellersunite.com/viewtopic.php?t=21491&highlight=#194722

In short, I believe that Google and eBay have a little plan; Crush the "small" guys.

It will not be long, before every alternative shopping site / marketplace online is removed from Google Base. What blow's me away, is how much time we spent with the Google Developers in creating Google Base... All of us...

Take Care and have a great weekend....

Rene

We've had about seven sales in six months after much promotion. We still have a store there, and promote BJ. We like the community and there is unique inventory listed. After much thought, we decided to diversify our selling portfolio and now selling elsewhere with nine sales in four weeks, with all the same promotions as BJ.

Hopefully there are some future plans because there are many longtimers that have committed themselves to BJ, promoting it extensively everywhere.

Hard to say...but the google problems have not helped, and the owners are not "hands on", it keeps everyone in the dark and wondering! Hopefully it will emerge with some new plans after having been online for several years.

Everyone has to do what is best for their online selling presence and sales. Best of luck to all!

Purple - yeah, I check Google shopping. When you do a regular Google search, it sometimes gives the top three matches under the Google shopping subheading, and occasionally one of my items will pull up in those top three. (Usually the oldest ones.) I did a search for my Forbidden Fruit pins and they do come up pretty nicely. Just weird. However I will say that things picked up this weekend - three Blujay orders Very Happy and a bunch of Ecrater orders.

I think Blujay has great potential. I like the way the stores are set up MUCH more than Ecrater, which I find might be confusing to buyers to shop once you're actually in a store.

Blujay is still in the same situation it was in 6 to 8 months ago. The website is left unattended and NO future plans of the site upgrading or deleting all the dead stores that are there.

I wish the Owner would come back or sell the site.
Not sure whats going to happen to a website that is left unattended to run itself. Can it exist for much longer?

Update - blujay.com is once again visible to regular Google search, though my guess about the robots.txt file was wrong. Nevertheless - good to see a well-loved site back on the right track!

Yes thanks, we have been aware of this for about a week or so now. We are visible at the moment and hope this continues.
