charlottemisty

The coin, sports, stamp sellers just got there first. Really!!!

I have seen many other items sell there, jewelry, watches, cigars, toys, to name a few, CD's/VHS, Comic books, some electronics, and a Gucci something or other, are also getting activity.

One would have to assume the categories with the most listings would sell the most/best.

What you are not seeing on the bid board are buy it nows, & sniping activity, for me it's about 20% of sales.

It also might depend on when you look, some sellers aim their end times towards weekends, others go for the weekdays, some AM, some PM.

For me Wensy has worked better than Ebay did.

Fewer glitches.
Neat easy to use platform for both Buyers & Sellers.
An owner who resolves problems almost on the spot.
Site upgrades when needed & promised.
Totally Free, No Fees of any kind.

Listings have more than tripled in the 10 Months that I have been there.

You might want to take a closer look.

I have been a member of Wensy for a long time. I even tried to sell with no luck. All I seen sell was coins at that time. I have watched it from time to time and still only coins and now sport cards sell with a few other items throwed in. I may try again when I have time to list, but right now we are in the process of cleaning a house to get ready to move sometime this fall if everything works out right.

Press Release: Wensy

Wensy has recently purchased Stampoffers.com for an undisclosed amount of money.

Wensy.com has been on the internet for 2 years. In this short two years they have achieved over 6,040 members and 113,000 active items. Wensy has done a great job promoting their site and have grown to contend with some other larger sites. In an effort to bring in more sellers and buyers to Wensy, Wensy announced today they had indeed purchased Stampoffers.com for an undisclosed amount of money.

Wensy owner, Darren Bock, did make brief statement, "This is the first step in making both sites bigger" and "Our goal is to improve traffic on both sites".

With both sites combined, their total number of memberships hit just under 8,000 and the number of listings is just under 220,000. Darren did go on to say "Wensy is currently in the market to purchase one additional auction site". Although the details were not released, it seems Wensy will continue to put its efforts forward to become a top contender in the online market world.

I don't know, the forums onsite have been down. I know we added the stamp sellers, but it couldn't have doubled the numbers overnight.
