We're all mad about ebays high selling fees and rules, that's why were here looking for a new ebay. There are lots of good alternative auction sites, but the challenge is how do we get buyers to leave ebay?

I set up a Co-op or union, to organize and unite buyers & sellers and get them working together, instead of working against each other with all the numerous alternative sites.

Farmers formed Co-ops and agreed to work together so they could control and get higher prices for their crops, instead of competing against each other.

Unions were formed so workers could all get higher wages and better benefits, instead of being treated like unskilled labor, where you can easily be replaced. It gave the power to the workers.

If buyers & sellers unite and work together as a Co-op or union to support one site, we can take away ebays control or monopoly of the market and split ebay's profits.

Instead of ebay taking 100% of the selling fee profits, I applied a MLM (Multi Level Marketing) pay system with downlines, like Amway, to an auction, and equally split the profits with our members that recruit referrals thru our email invitation link. It's that easy!

I know what your thinking, its a pyramid scheme and only the people at the top, make any money.

My parents were involved in Amway several times and Royal American, and no one ever made any money. I tried Melaluca, and went to Amway meetings and found them all confusing with the different levels and percentages, and I didn't feel comfortable bothering my friends and giving them a sales pitch. It was just a big hassle and cost to join.

This is nothing like that, I modified the pay system to work with an auction, and it's a perfect fit for this business because I am simply taking the selling fees your referrals would pay to ebay anyway, and equally splitting them with the members that recruit referrals.

The way I set up the pay system, ONLY the people that recruit referrals and train them to be productive sellers, will earn sales commissions, and there are alot of people out of work and looking for jobs.

Get paid for passing on your knowledge to others, so the harder you work at teaching others how to sell, the more money you make, and you can build on-going residual income.

Use your sales commissions to purchase medical & dental insurance and build retirement income that will grow with you, as you get older.

No membership or monthly fees, & No Hidden Fees.

ScottyDo does offer you a shot at the American Dream, to get rich thru hard work and dedication and being a part owner in your own auction business, instead of working for ebay or someone else. What do you have to lose?

Coulda sworn I gave you that advice for free a LONG time ago. How much you payin' that marketing fella?

P.S. For free, again... ShowBidz would be a GREAT name for a niche site focused on Entertainment Memorabilia...

Yeah, I know, I'm a little hard headed!

It's a long story, but we found out our host wasn't setup correctly to handle all the ads, so we moved to a new server with alot more RAM or horsepower, and decided to change the name at the same time, but man it's been alot of work.

Thanks for the Free advice though, I have been thinking about for a long time. Talk to you later.

Sites are entered into the site count at the discretion of the administrator here. It isn't an automated process.

Your site is showing 341,153 live auctions, but only 54 registered users. Admin has stated previously that a site's listings need to be diverse in the sense that they don't belong to a predominant category or handful of sellers.

This may be why your site hasn't been added yet.

And good luck with google, since google does not like duplicate content... and dropshipped items.

I too never heard of this site. Perhaps it's new?

A site needs to be around for quite a while and keep a minimum of 10K listed items for a certain period of time.

From a quick glance it appears most of the listed items are in either:

Auto Parts (17129)

Cell Phones & PDA's (4265)

Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories (2856)

Computers & Networking (20183)

Consumer Electronics (7362)

Health & Beauty (13260)

Home & Garden (156546)

Jewelry & Watches (27870)

Sports Cards & Fan Shop (23293)

Most all of the other catagories show (0) listed items.

I'll go ahead an move this topic over to "other online auction site discussions"

Funny how the categories I look for show zero still.

Books, Music, DVDs, etc.

Only the categories that tend to attract dropshippers show any content.
