Hi,

I am just starting my annual assesement of my buisness operations, and thought I would come here for feedback, below find the current decriprion for my moist popular selling item, my full steel arms, in which i sell about 200 sets a year all made by hand by me. I will say up front, I know it is reall subpar. I am looking for feedback on how to use wording to optimize my SEO anlong with any missing verbage that I could use. I will essentially change the item and specs in the description as a master templaate for eBid, EBay and Bonanzle.

Thank you,

Eric Joseph

Handmade in the USA

Hello, these are a matched set of handmade full steel arms made by me and my shop, James River Armoury. They are made of all 16 guage mild steel polished to a 120 grit formax satin-glo finish and are fully strapped and ready to wear. The vambrace can be fitted to your measurements or you can select from 2 stock choices: 10" wrist and 14" bicept or 8.5" wrist 12.5" bicept. If you choose the custom option, please allow 3 weeks for delivery. My work has appeared in The Tudors and Kindgdom of Heaven and extensively in SCI-FI Channel's Tin Man, buy with confidence, I have been making armour since 1983 and have been selling on ebay since 2001.

Heya eric - a few thoughts right off - correct gauge for guage (though you might include both), and bicep for bicept.

You mention 'vambrace' - you might work in some other armor-specific words (for the true armour-geeks).

Do you want to sell to US as well as Britain? You might add armor as well as armour.

You don't mention the padding - included/not (unless that's the vambrace... I regret all my F&SF reading is not handing me words at the moment.

Some other associations that might help if 'mixed in':

Knight in Shining Armour
Renaissance Faire
Jousting
Halloween
Costume Ball
Reenactment
Medieval
Dragon fighting
Swords
Shields
Princess
Suit of Armor
Suit of Armour
Full Armor Suit

Google has a keyword tool that could be very helpful.

I did notice that in the very first sentance of the helmet description the word "helmet" is mis-spelled as "helm"..Not quite the best way to begin.

Just what I saw first...

Best success with your site...

Kat

Eric:

Your full armor suit includes vambrace, (fill in names of other pieces) , complete with buckles, (fill in etc.) , and ready to wear. We use mild steel (etc.) made in the style of (time period) .

Be sure to check out our matching shields, (related items) . Your helm can be customized (feathers? crests? face-type? lady-favor attachment?) .

No true Knight should be without the finest suit of armour possible, and we take pride in our excellence. Some of our work can be seen...

Smile
