I've been there since late 05. It was OK for all the years that BJ was good. But last year when BJ tanked, eC took off for me.
This year sales have been slower than last winter, but still pretty good. It's still somewhat early for seed sales but picking up.

I left ebay in 2006 and tried several sites. Then I found eCrater and have been there since 06 and it only gets better every year.
In fact, for 2009 my sales doubled in dollar amount from 08. So, I would say my store is going strong and I plan on being here for years not just months.
I appreciate any help, thank you so much L ! |

Like Carol, my items are sometimes seasonal (depending on which catagory you explore in my store) so you can never tell when a sale will come along.
This past holiday I sold more items at EC AND BJ than I have in the past. Nothing to brag about but a sale is a sale.......with no fees!
Overall my online sales were down a bit in 2009 and I can only figure it was due to the economy. |

I love eCrater...I find the listing format to be very user friendly, and easy to manage. The design is quite simple, but It Works! I decided to leave ebay and planned on simply no longer selling online, then I found eCrater. I am continuing to expand my inventory, and my sales continue to increase as well. I couldn't be more please with a site, the fact that it's totally free is wonderful...the fact that sales happen with little effort other than just listing is what keeps me there! |

Ahhhh good ,I had to close my store 18 months ago but intend to return to eCrater under another form.I'm glad people are doing well on it and I like the changes they made on the site with RSS feeds.
So I've added one of your stores from every poster above ,I will then eventually add them to several more sites in form of RSS feeds and links.
Traffic is currently low on one new site ,and erratic on the older site ,the new content that all your stores provice should increase this and generate more interest and thus more links to your stores !
At the very least it will be some clicks and improved SEO |

I'm happy to say that my eCrater sales increased 500% 2009 over 2008. I intend to keep my store open there for many years. Good luck, Katinka |

I have been doing pretty well with my store on eCrater this year. I have been listing there since 06. I finally got serious about listing items and sales have picked up. Lots more traffic... |

Well I'm still waiting for my first Goggle or Ecrater sent customer.
But... sales in my ecrater shop have started to increase greatly from my customers I sent to ecrater via my website- very decent totals with no percentage to be paid. I guess it doesn't matter really where the customers come from as long as they buy. It is fairly simple to buy on ecrater. I decided to look at ecrater as basically an extension of my website with about 100 links from my website to my shop ecrater search. another way to put it is my website is a fancy frontpage to my ecrater store. lol.
The nice things about ecrater is the payment setup (i use paypal only) I hate paypal enabling every item on my website with html code. it is a pain in backside. If the specialized search links go to ecrater items it becomes simple to process payments.
Also, the simplicity to list is a real bonus in my opinion. You can list a lot of items quickly on ecrater. |
