The auction for a long term (11 years), 3,000+ feedback member ID has been canceled by eBay.
The auction lives on here: Member ID For Sale

Dang, I was the high bidder too. Confused

It doesn't look like the member is NARU. How genuinely sad that eBay has mutated into the evil, arrogant and abrasive entity it is today that causes folks like this to throw it all in. Here's what I found:

|.....THIS.....| is what John Donahoe wants to remove from eBay.

Were I that seller, I would just suspend all my eBay activity and stop using eBay for the time being. I see no reason to throw her accumulated good name away. Things may change... someday... But if she sells nothing, her fb and stars can't be dinged, and she won't have any aggravation. Wink

You seen that feedback?

feedback of member

Copy pasted the listing to my blog as I figured they would do that but you can see it on the other post about this Here

Just rips out your guts reading that. You want to show the press a story, ask them to contact that seller.

You read the questions

Q: DO YOU SHIP TO ITALY? WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING CHARGES? (JUST KIDDING). Thought you might get a laugh on the questions and hopefully not drive you to the...more Apr-03-08
A: Hmmmmm, I'm worried it might get stuck in Customs in Italy. Wink Seriously, I hear Italy has been one of eBay's biggest guinea pigs. I think...more
Q: Loved your listing. Good luck! Apr-03-08
A: Thank you!!!!!
Q: Do NOT give up, you guys, there is one place you may like: "O" "L" "A" take care Apr-02-08
A: thanks, but I fear I've reached the "W" "T" "F" stage with auction sites of all types.
Q: Very well written-you made my day. The best to you and your family!!! Apr-02-08
A: Thank you and same to ya'll! I felt really good getting all that off my chest.
Q: You said it best!! Enjoyed reading your listing! :} Best of luck to ya! Apr-02-08
A: Thank you!

Ebay has done it to another one

The damage may already be done, as we don't know what FB is in the pipeline from any other NPBs or whatever they have had to deal with.

I hope someone points them here and maybe they can find what they have lost

Nope, not balls enough to do it, but do they seem to have pinkslapped me, lol!

Would you believe, I have still the option to relist the auction, though?

Laughing Laughing

So what was the reason they gave for removing the listing?

Maybe you should relist with a penny less shipping. Laughing Laughing

Exactly what Granny-Fat-Toes warned about. And they were kind enough to send it twice, as two seperate "violations". I guess they were throwing the book at me, lol!

It really tickled me that I got my $.15 cent listing fee refunded, though. So does this mean I could run a gazillion scam or illegal listings, and the worse thing that happens to me would be that I get email? Wow, what a deal!

MC018 eBay Listing Removed: No Item ( 194058736)
MC017 eBay Listing Violation: No Item ( 194062207)

Dear springlering(springlering@xxxxxx),

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

270225373707 - Ebay Member User ID For Sale 99.7% 3000+ Feedback!!!

The listing was removed because it violated the eBay No Item policy. The violation occurred when you included the following information in your listing:

"Ebay Member User ID For Sale 99.7 3000+ Feedback!!!" - User ID for sale.

Our User Agreement states, in part: "While using the Sites, you will not...transfer your eBay account (including feedback) and User ID to another party without our consent."

So that was you,
Like a lot of other sellers around here I could relate to that listing.

I wonder how many people looked at it thinking it's not just me?

Brilliant! It was so sad to read in a way (because I can sure relate) but your sense of humour is fantastic! Great writing and love the definitions.

So, gonna relist it?
