Below is v-e-r-y long, and complete correspondence of my continuing battle with ebay over a public domain film i manufacture, and had listed on ebay until a wrongful vero claimant perjured themself, and it got pulled.
it clearly demonstrates ebay's "NON-PERFORMANCE" (a term they love to use...).
it shows ebay's ignorance of facts, and legal documentation, no matter how much you give them, they just don't accept it. not just in this case, but thousands... possibly millions...probably all cases.

It will also be brought to the attention of the federal trade
commission, who is already building a case against ebay on several
different things.
The vero claimant lied / perjured themselves according to your vero
rules.
By ignoring the facts, ebay is as guilty as the the wrongful claimant.
Why does ebay turn a deaf ear to facts, and the people who built
ebay...it's sellers and buyers?
It truly is no wonder ebay listing are constantly on the decline.
The smaller sites, which ebay laughs at...but which eventually will
overtake ebay due to it's lack of customer service, and loyalty to it's
buyers and sellers, at least listen to, and act upon facts... something
ebay obviously has no desire to do.

Well....johnny cash is dead, so...i doubt we'll be hearing from him.
Iguess you better contact the vero owner, and inform him he has
committed
perjury, as he certainly has. I sent you rhe proof from the copyright
office.
He cannot send you anything proving copyright, as there is none.
He, and you better do your homework. I have done mine, and submitted
proof.
He has submitted nothing but a perjured statement.
Do your job correctly, and make him supply documentation, as I have.
I tried several times to contact this person, and got no response.
Sounds like a classic case of NON-PERFORMANCE!!

Just because someone SAYS they have a copyright, does not in fact mean

do. Below is the page from the copyright office website
www.loc.gov
which is
the library of congress, which is where ALL copyright are registered,
stored,
and available on line.
As you can see, there is no copyright listed for the film Johnny cash
appeared in known as "door to door maniac".
Also, here is a direct link to that page, so you can se that it has not
been
altered.
I deal with copyright everyday, so am very familiar with what is, and
what is
not copyrighted.
This film is in the public domain. It can be reproduced, distributed,
and
sold by anyone.
Again, the claimant who turned this in has no rights to the film. Just
because Johnny cash appeared in the film does not mean he, or his estate
have
any claim to it. They failed to renew the copyright. Once a copyright
expires, it falls into the public domain, and cannot ever be regained.

This can be verified by checking with the library of congress, which is

The person below claiming to be the copyright owner is lying.
I sent them several emails challenging their claim, and stating what I

told you. , and got no response.
In the future, when someone makes a vero claim, check, and have the
facts in
front of you. It eliminates work on all ends. Anyone can make a
claim...being
able to back it up is a different story.
