Thank you to everyone who has joined PowerSellersUnite (PSU)
PSU was “born” when eBay implemented rate increases that significantly impacted sellers large & small. The fee hikes affect buyers also, as most sellers have no choice but to pass on the eBay fees to buyers. Our focus has now shifted away from the eBay boycott in early 2005 to helping sellers, and buyers, find the best alternative auction site(s) for their needs.

PSU is a fast- growing group of online members – seasoned and new – with common goals. We enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment where all facets of e-Commerce are discussed and debated.
PSU offers site navigation tools, free auction tools, and multiple search options right from the home page!

Our discussions include web site design to best alternative auction sites. If your area of question/interest is not found, ask and you will receive!

Take a minute and join one of the fastest growing online e-Commerce communities!

If you have any news, information, or updates you want to share please contact us

Be sure to submit a link to your online store on our Users Storefronts so others can browse your store. If you do not have your own store yet we provide PSU Stores so you can have your very own e-commerce web site.

You do NOT need to be a PowerSeller to join this site. EVERYONE is welcome!

eBay is facing multiple challenges as its new CEO, John Donahoe, takes the reins from Meg Whitman. The company is dealing with some sellers drifting away, the growing shadow of Google and the looming presence of Amazon.com and other competitors.

While Yahoo (Nasdaq: YHOO) Latest News about Yahoo staves off a takeover bid from Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Free Trial. Security Software As A Service From Webroot. Latest News about Microsoft -- and Microsoft braces for life after Bill Gates -- another high-tech pioneer is at a digital crossroads.

As eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) Latest News about eBay readies for the post-Meg-Whitman era, and new CEO John Donahoe takes over, it faces fierce challenges in a Web 2.0 era defined by armies of agile competitors.

Running eBay could be a daunting task. The former dot-com darling has lost some of its luster and is reinventing itself to reverse years of slowing growth in its auction marketplace, where millions trade online selling to the highest bidder or at a fixed price.

To bad they won't "un-invent" themselves and go back to what they were ment to be. Ebay used to be fun and a good way to make money. Now ....................................

"Hopefully some day someone will clue johnny in that amazon's success is in great part due to CUSTOMER SERVICE."

Donahue and brain trust, et al, can't spell the words let alone address the absence of the concept at eBay. They operate in a theoretical world reinforced by fantasies of grandeur. Their management style is reminiscent of the ruling class at the time of the fall of the Roman Empire.

Oh yes....I shop on Amazon because I feel relatively safe in doing so. On ebay, its a crap shoot unless you gather some reputable sellers you can trust.

Maybe if they had stopped the scams and fraud people would not have left. It is unfortunate they did not care about their users because they would not have started dying a slow death years ago if they had.

Hopefully some day someone will clue johnny in that amazon's success is in great part due to CUSTOMER SERVICE.
